tea olives along fence have been planted - these will eventually grow together to create a privacy hedge
plants and flowers have been lined up in the beds
gardenias along the back, hostas and lambs ear scattered along front, and a few peony plants in the front
No more pea gravel!
Now it's down to the furniture, lighting, and some odds and ends. Some of you that follow me on instagram may have seen a sneak peek, but I will post final pictures in the next few weeks - just waiting on a few items to call it complete! What do you think so far? Remember the before ...
Katie, I LOVE IT! Looks so good! Can't wait to see it all "styled" with furniture and fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks a mil Jessica! I hope you and Ryan will come up one weekend to enjoy it with us! It would be so fun!
Deletelooks great!
ReplyDeletewe recently had a tree removed and they planted new sod and it dried out competely with the heat and no rain we've been having up here in Chicago. But the sod should have grass seed underneath it to grow over the died stuff. that's what happened to our sod.
Erin
oh gosh ... well hopefully ours has seed up under it! I'll keep you posted on how it does in this Alabama heat! ;)
DeleteThanks Erin!
Oh so beautiful already!! That's going to be a great place to curl up on winter nights in front of the fire! We had new sod put in our backyard at the end of March, and with this TX heat, it all started to die and was brown, but with fertilizer and lots of watering, it's all coming around. There are lots of green patches in the brown spots and they are starting to grow together, so I know it will all get there. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tara! I'm sure we will have that same cycle! I don't know if we can prevent any of it dying in this awful heat!!!
DeleteKB--this is amazing!!! I love it so much!! Can't wait to drink bottles upon bottles there!
