ADDITION UPDATE
About a month ago (yes, I am a procrastinator on uploading photos) I snapped a few photos while home of our family additions. Ava and chicks are doing great and I knew you all were dying to see updated photos. All, even B, are super spunky (notice Ava's tongue out in every pic and the mohawks on the chicks) and fit in perfectly on the farm at home. Here you go!
SITTING PRETTY
I am loving this meticulous display of tea cups and saucers in this kitchen (along with everything else)
And more hanging tea cups in this kitchen - love the rustic island and beams as well.

I like the concept of stacked books as a side table ... such a nifty idea for a reading nook or confined space.

WEDDING INVITES : lauren semanson bryant
Over the course of my wedding planning and the month following, I worked tediously on a good friend's wedding suite. Lauren and I's taste is very similar so these invitations were not only fun and inspiring, but a breeze! Her rustic theme began with birdcages and lanterns while paired with natural elements and shades of gray and teal. We incorporated some other fun surprises into the wedding suite to expand the theme. She got married at a quaint chapel in Greensboro, Georgia and the reception was held at Reynolds Plantation at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Lodge (same place Carrie Underwood got married!) on Lake Oconee.
This is the entire suite: save the date, wedding invitation with direction car & rsvp card, thank you cards, and programs.

ROSE GOLD
I have had this admiration for rose gold lately and I can't help but swoon over any jewelry with this pink tone. My tiny twisted wedding band is rose gold and is paired with another white gold band and my twisted yellow gold engagement ring. I love the trio of metals.
Design Work Life just did an awesome post on all things rose gold and it is a-maz-ing. All of the featured products are beautiful.
Fossil has developed a new line of chronograph watches that are absolutely gorgeous! They have really upped the ante for Michael Kors (check out the MK watch featured in DWL's post). MK (in my opinion) set the bar for taking chunky, boyfriend watches and morphing them into trendy, timeless masterpieces. They are too big on my wrist, but I do have a similar yellow gold knock off that I wear everyday. I would take one and all of these Fossils please!
Check out all of Fossil's rose gold watches here and their fabulous new line of Stella watches. Do you like? Which is your fav?

I was quite confused on what the whole Pinterest trend was, but I did some exploring yesterday and now I have jumped on the band wagon. I am still unsure on how to pronounce it (for awhile I said pin-interest, which is obviously wrong, and then I said pin-terest, and I have tried p-interest, what do you think?) but I love it all the same.
I have read all the interest about Pinterest ;), but I never found a clear explanation so I am saving you the trouble by explaining it! Once you get going I am sure you will love it too.
Overall, Pinterest is a way to catalog all your favorite things on one site. You create as many "boards" you would like, titled by your choice, and then you starting pinning your favorites! You simply download the icon onto your toolbar and anytime you want to save an image or site, you click the icon and it walks you though the steps. After you "pin it", it is saved to your board! Wa-lah! Genuis! So now, all those random pictures and websites you have saved on your desktop ... you can organize on this site. It is great for remembering where items came from.
What do you think? Are you going to try it out? Do! They trick you by putting you on a wait list, but that only lasts a day. Or, if you want a personal invite, just let me know and I will send one your way!
